What you should know about Ramalama Book Exchange
David and Kate set up the Ramalama Book Exchange in Wonthaggi in 2005 after not being able to find a bookshop in the area where they could source books to read. In 2009 another 12 shelves were added to the 40 existing shelves creating much needed room for the growing numbers of books. A larger premises was found in Murray street where extra shelves could be placed and a wider selection of books displayed. From a small shop tucked away inside an arcade, the book shop soon grew to be too congested for this location.
In April 2010, David and Kate celebrated their 5th year in Wonthaggi by setting up a website.
