At the top left of the Home page is a join to a new This Week page, which is updated each weekend to divulge events for the coming week. The main menu has green home buttons at the left and red close buttons X at the right, both top and bottom. The Main menu and all the unfold sub menus show their names and menu numbers, shaded light blue at the top of the menu. This manual is also available for review at the club house. We would like to congratulate the succeeding members of our club on their achievements and wish them good bowling. There were 3 games of 10 ends played with powerful competition vying for the prize money. The Superior Overall game with 19 shots up went to Doug and Veronica Muir, and John and Joyce Arnold. Trevor is still playing huge bowls at 91 with his best years quiet ahead of him when he's had a insignificant more experience. This was followed by the presentations made to the winners and runners up of the various Club Championships held during the season. All recipients expressed their please in winning and acknowledged their opponents. Most conveyed the feeling that the club is moving forward, confident in its direction and hopeful about the future. The Men’s and Ladies Club Championship games have been completed for the season. On the third rink, Inverloch started healthy and maintained a good buffer of shots up earlier Leongatha earned the lead. It has been 2 years since our final thriving fundraiser, the Garage Sale. Our success is encourage by the quality of goods donated by our members, so let’s begin looking around the house, garage and shed for salable items. We believe this is due to more strict efforts by various email providers to lessen the amount of spam email getting into your in boxes. Shirley started her bowling career at Meeniyan. Shirley got involved with her club in service as well as commencing her achievements on the bowling green. She was the Ladies Club Champion four times with her first triumph being in 1966 and her final in 1996 an splendid 30 year span. She has supplied the flowers for events for many years to decorate the club rooms. Shirley also has been a lengthy time sponsor of Melbourne Cup Day events held at the club through her association with the Esplanade Hotel. We hope to continue to see you around the club for many more years to come. A member went to the club on New Years Eve impartial to check on things only to find the gate unlocked.
